Important: This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Acme Factory Inc. By installing, copying, or using The Printer App, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.
Third-party software: The Printer App includes components provided under separate third-party licenses. See the Third-Party Software Notices for applicable license and corresponding-source information.
Subject to this EULA and a valid paid license, Acme Factory Inc. grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
The Printer App v2 is offered as one full-feature paid license. It is a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription.
Promotional prices may be offered at different times during an eligible trial. Paying a different approved promotional price does not change the features, activation count, personal/commercial-use rights, or other v2 entitlement provided by the paid license.
The paid license is perpetual for the v2.x product series, subject to this EULA and applicable law. All updates released as part of The Printer App v2.x are included at no additional charge.
A future separately named or major-version product may have a separate commercial model. Such a future decision does not revoke your right to use the v2 version you licensed and does not convert existing v2 capabilities into a new paid tier for existing v2 licensees.
On an eligible Device, the Software offers an optional seven-day full-feature trial. Every feature is unlocked and available during the normal trial period. The trial begins only when the user explicitly chooses Start Free 7-Day Trial; installing or opening the Software, entering a license key, or closing the startup screen does not itself start the trial. Starting a new trial requires a brief internet connection so the licensing service can register the canonical trial start time.
A Device that has previously activated a paid license is not eligible for a new brand-new trial merely because the paid license is later deactivated or removed. If a trial started before paid activation, the original trial timing is preserved and only any unused portion of that same trial may resume after deactivation. An expired trial remains expired.
After the trial expires, limited View-Only Mode may be used to open and inspect existing saved projects; creating or changing projects, saving, printing, PDF export, and other productive features require a valid paid license. Circumventing trial or activation controls is a violation of this EULA.
You may not redistribute or sublicense The Printer App or its license key, remove Acme Factory Inc. proprietary notices, circumvent licensing or security controls, or modify or reverse-engineer Acme Factory Inc. proprietary components except to the extent permitted by applicable law or by an applicable third-party software license.
Commercial use in your business, including work you perform for customers or clients, is permitted. This does not authorize you to resell, sublicense, redistribute, or host the Software itself as a service.
You retain ownership of the photos, images, and other content you process with the Software. Acme Factory Inc. claims no ownership rights in that content. You are responsible for having the rights required to use, print, or distribute it.
The Software, its code, user interface, graphics, documentation, trademarks, and trade names are owned by or licensed to Acme Factory Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. This EULA grants only the software-use rights expressly stated above.
Updates released as The Printer App v2.x are included with a valid v2 paid license. A future separately named or major-version product may be licensed separately if Acme Factory Inc. later chooses to create one. Existing v2 license rights remain governed by this EULA.

The Software includes third-party components subject to their respective licenses, including components such as PySide6, Pillow, rawpy, NumPy, and requests. Applicable third-party notices and licenses continue to govern those components.
Nothing in this EULA restricts rights granted to you directly under an applicable third-party license.
The Software processes your images locally on your Device. We do not upload your photos or image contents to our licensing service.
The Software uses network access for defined operations including new-trial registration, secure trial-offer authorization, paid-license activation, validation, and deactivation. For an unlicensed trial, the service uses a privacy-safe SHA-256 hash derived from the machine identifier rather than receiving the raw machine GUID. These requests do not include your photo contents, image file names, EXIF metadata, layout contents, or print history. Paid-license operations use the license and machine information needed to manage activation state. See our Privacy Policy for details.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Acme Factory Inc. does not warrant that the Software will meet every requirement, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that physical print output will exactly match an on-screen preview. Printer hardware, drivers, paper, ink, source images, and settings can affect physical output.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ACME FACTORY INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software license. Nothing in this EULA excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Acme Factory Inc. and its representatives from claims arising from your unlawful use of the Software, your violation of this EULA, or your violation of third-party rights.
Your paid license rights for The Printer App v2.x are perpetual, subject to compliance with this EULA and applicable law. You may terminate this EULA by uninstalling and ceasing use. Acme Factory Inc. may terminate license rights for a material breach, subject to protections required by applicable law. Fraudulent, refunded, reversed, or invalid transactions may also affect the associated license as permitted by applicable law and applicable transaction terms.
You agree to comply with applicable export laws and regulations and not to export or re-export the Software where prohibited by applicable law.
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, subject to mandatory rights that apply based on your location.
Nothing in this EULA requires a consumer to submit a dispute to arbitration or another dispute-resolution process. After a dispute arises, the parties may agree to mediation, arbitration, or another dispute-resolution process where permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer right or remedy.
If a provision is held unenforceable or invalid, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where permitted, and the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
This EULA, together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy, constitutes the agreement between you and Acme Factory Inc. regarding the Software, subject to separate Paddle buyer terms that apply to transactions processed by Paddle.
Acme Factory Inc. may update this EULA from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated date. Changes do not retroactively remove the paid v2 rights described in this EULA except where required by applicable law or agreed with you.
