The Printer App 2.0.4

CURRENT STABLE

Version 2.0.4 adds a secure, verified activation handoff that makes it easier for purchasers to activate The Printer App immediately after checkout.

What's new

  • After a purchase is verified, the confirmation page can securely open The Printer App and begin activation for you.
  • Purchase activation works whether The Printer App is closed or already running, without leaving a duplicate application window open.
  • The permanent license key remains protected during the website-to-application activation handoff.
  • Safe retry guidance is shown if activation cannot be completed immediately.
  • Manual license-key activation remains available as a dependable fallback.
  • Additional purchase, licensing, installer and activation reliability improvements.
Current v2 release. Version 2.0.4 is the current Windows release. Existing paid v2 licenses include v2.x updates under the current license terms. Download version 2.0.4.

The Printer App 2.0.3

Version 2.0.3 improves the complete first-run, trial, purchase and activation experience while adding additional reliability and security improvements throughout The Printer App.

What's new

  • A redesigned first-launch experience clearly lets you choose between activating an existing purchase and starting the free trial.
  • Existing purchasers can enter their license key immediately without starting a trial first.
  • The optional 7-day free trial starts only when you explicitly choose Start Free 7-Day Trial.
  • Improved trial continuity so reinstalling, activating, deactivating or returning to the app does not unexpectedly restart or replace an existing trial.
  • Improved handling for returning purchasers and previously activated computers.
  • More reliable licensing behaviour when an internet connection is temporarily unavailable.
  • Improved promotional purchase handling, including clearer messages when an offer has expired, cannot be verified or can safely be retried.
  • Updated purchase confirmation and license-email guidance so activation instructions match the application experience.

The Printer App 2.0.2

Version 2.0.2 is a focused v2 update aimed at making multi-page projects easier to manage and keeping customers informed when a new Printer App release becomes available.

What's new

  • Select images across multiple project pages and keep that selection while moving between pages.
  • Select or deselect the current page, all pages, or chosen pages from dedicated selection controls.
  • Use selected-image batch actions for rotate left, rotate right, reset edits, remove, and clear selection.
  • See selected-image outlines and selected counts directly in page thumbnails.
  • Check for updates manually from Help, with lightweight automatic release checking in the background.
  • Receive a clear in-app notice when a newer version is available, while keeping download and installation under your control.
Previous release. Version 2.0.2 has been superseded by version 2.0.3. Existing v2 licenses include v2.x updates under the current license terms.

The Printer App 2.0.1

Version 2.0.1 is the previous stable Windows release of The Printer App.

Highlights

  • Camera RAW support validated across DNG, CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, ORF, RW2, and RAF sample files.
  • RAW files use an embedded JPEG preview when available and fall back to RAW decoding when needed.
  • Existing photo-layout, image-adjustment, print-preview, PDF-export, project-saving, licensing, and recovery workflows remain part of the v2 product.
Previous release. Version 2.0.1 has been superseded by version 2.0.2. Existing v2 licenses include v2.x updates under the current license terms.
v2 licensing: A paid The Printer App v2 license includes v2.x updates under the current license terms. Major future versions may have separate upgrade terms if the product changes substantially.
